Paradigm of The World Reconciliation

We are as youth still have many times to do something important for the better future, not only for our own selves but also for many people, the world need us to speak and take action in determining what kind of world we want to make, we can make this world be better or worse, depend on us. When we want to compare the present with the past we must find many differences and changes, the differences and changes didn’t come accidentally, it is created by some actors. Even though both of them didn’t  always appear as positive thing. The changes are determined by who is the actor. Some issues that perhaps will never end to talk and discuss is about peace and green world. We should be proud because the smart initiative also comes from young people to make youth forum for discussing about new strategic culture for peace and green world.

Talking about peace and green world are not a new issues, many intellectual, scientist, government, social activist, social organization from many countries, and international organization like United Nation  also have been talking it many times. It comes from awareness and careness about the world situation now. When we watch on television, we get the information about many things happened in this world, in economy, politic, social life, culture and others, we always give good pay attention to the humanitarian issues which recently happened, such as middle east crisis which has not been over, conflict  in Rohingya-Miyanmar, starvation in some countries in Africa and also many cases about the destruction of nature, environmental problems, illegal logging, forest fires, pollution, flood, and global warming. All of them are problem that challenge us to take a strategic role to overcome it.

The modernity which is indentical with industrialization has caused a very fundamental problem, the industrial countries have produced many things new and of course they want to sell their product, this condition make the developing countries became the market destination. It enable the economic of world  is taken control by developed countries, moreover the capital power is stronger than state power, eventually the policies sometimes can be adjusted by capital interest and cause the imbalance condition in society. We can find some developing countries have many poor people and unemployment because they couldn’t compete with the others, because unhealthy competition make the people time by time become individualistic. We can solve this problem when we have awareness that the industrialization it doesn’t for oppressing the weak countries, nevertheless to create  progress  and welfare by helping one another.

Since the industrial revolution in the Europe, many western countries compete to build economic sector in mining and factory,  it makes these countries looked for natural resources to explore, the mining and factory need many people to work and produce the modern tools like many kinds of vehicle. After many years the exploration become exploitation that makes the nature damaged. It’s caused by paradigm of industrialization which make the nature as object to exploitate without limits, because of it we find so many natural disaster, whereas nature is our life partner who should be used as a source of biological life by not forgetting keeping its preservation.

The political constellation of the world also give influence to the world peace, we know the history of two world war it caused by willingness to dominate one another among the industrial countries.  And absolutely we don’t want a new colonialism and imperialism happened in this era. Since the declaration of human rights at 1948, humanitarian cases are still a lot of information on mass media, this indicates that the enforcement of human rights is still far from the truth, for example the violence which is motivated by religiously, in fact, the term conflict of religion is not true, because religions never condone conflict, which really is a conflict between the followers of religions due to the extreme attitudes. in Indonesia those cases have been becoming the big threat for us, moreover sometimes it also motivated by the political-economic interests that overlap, therefore the government needs to do an early warning system for conflict-prone areas while the process of reconciliation, interfaith dialogue must always prioritizing the completion of religiously conflict.

Since tragedy of September eleven when an attack of terrorist destroy the building of World Trade Center (WTC) in Wassington DC USA, terrorism a threat to the world, so all agreed to fight as an offense against the principles of humanity, ranging from persecution to those who suspected terrorists to expand to countries suspected of being a nest of tetoris. It makes the relationship between western country especially USA and some middle east countries became worst. It causes the invasion of USA to  Afganistan and Irak with many kinds of reason. I guess that it one of the cause of middle east crisis up to now. for extremists commit acts of violence for the sake of upholding the teachings of religion is an obligation, whereas none of the religion that justifies violence in the name of god, let alone uphold Islamic teachings of peace with a moderate, inclusive and a mercy to all the worlds. According to tesis by Samuel P. Huntington the clash of civilization, we may criticize it, because I’m sure that we as human being have instinct to love peace and want to create it entire life, but sometimes desire to dominate surface from uncontroll greediness. So that the truth is there has been clash of interest.

Peace is our need as human beings, peace with nature and our fellow humans. Because of the belief that God created us not to destroy each other, but to create a better world life. We've been pretty bored with violence and oppression of man by man, we want a life that humanize humans, Nature as the place we sow our lives, we must always keep its preservation, we should use politics as a means of self-actualization to improve the condition of society, industry and technological advances utilized for humanity, rather than a source of social problems.

An ideal of life that we can make happen together with the paradigm of the struggle for world reconciliation, As former president of Indonesia K.H Abdurrahman Wahid said “The peace is only exist from the people who believe in God”, therefore fight for peace is a manifestation of religiously.
